Kingston has introduced a USB flash drive DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 with a capacity of 1 TB.

The first flash drive Kingston HyperX had called a volume of 64 GB. A year ago, it was an impressive achievement. But technology often develops at a pace at which the size doubles every year, so few expected from Kingston representations drive that is four times higher than the top model of the previous year.

Despite the huge storage capacity, Kingston managed to keep the modest size of the drive. Dimensions of the above model 64GB DT HyperX were 2.95 x 0.92 x 0.63 inches. Compared to her, Predator is slightly shorter and thicker: 2.83 x 1.06 x 0.83 inches.

Predator drive performance is quite comparable to the SSD-drives: Read 240MB / s, and write 160MB / s. This allows you to not only store large amounts of information, but to do it quickly.

When leaving Predator on the market, which will be held soon to be available only on the 512 GB model. 1 TB model will be issued later in one fiscal quarter of this year. Unfortunately, an important piece of information of interest to potential users, still remains unknown, namely the price.
